Our Story

EDUMIN CBE was founded in 2021 with a clear vision: to revolutionize school management in Kenya by providing innovative, user-friendly, and affordable solutions that empower educational institutions to focus on what matters most — quality education.

The company was founded by Joseph Mose and Michael Omare, two passionate innovators who shared a common frustration with the inefficiencies and manual processes that many Kenyan schools struggled with. After working closely with educators and witnessing the challenges of record-keeping, compliance, and the transition to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), Joseph and Michael agreed that schools needed a smarter, more reliable system.

Combining Joseph’s experience in educational technology and system development with Michael’s expertise in school operations and ICT strategy, the two teamed up to design a solution that would transform how schools work. Their collaborative vision led to the creation of EDUMIN CBE — a platform built to simplify administration, improve accountability, and strengthen communication for schools across Kenya.

Today, we serve over 200 schools nationwide, helping them streamline operations, improve communication, and enhance the learning experience for thousands of students across Kenya.

EDUMIN CBE was founded by Joseph Mose And Michael Omare with a vision to simplify school administration for CBC schools across Kenya. We started with a small team of dedicated education and technology professionals.

2022

First 50 Schools

Within our first year, we successfully onboarded 50 schools onto our platform. Our user-friendly interface and dedicated support helped us build a strong reputation in the education sector.

E-Learning Expansion

We launched our comprehensive E-Learning platform to help schools transition to blended and online learning, especially important during and after the pandemic period.

Joseph Mose

CEO & Founder

Visionary leader with 3+ years in educational technology and school administration systems. Joseph guides EDUMIN in becoming one of the most trusted solutions for CBC schools. As a developer, he leads teams in software design, development, testing, and deployment. Together with co-founder Michael Omare, Joseph established EDUMIN with a shared mission to modernize school management through innovative, reliable, and user-centered technology solutions.

Michael Omare

ICT Manager & Founder

He is the Founder Of EDUMIN ANALYTICS. Leads teams of developers, oversees software design, development, testing, and deployment. Manages databases, ensures data integrity, performance, backup, and recovery and Manages computer systems, servers, operating systems, and system security.
